Can't open any projects

I use Fusion as a student all the time and have been for the past 4+ years. Today however I logged on for the first time in about 3 days, and I am no longer able to open any projects that I know I am a part of in the data panel tab. I can still used the open tool to open specific files and save them, but it's just annoying that I can't use the data panel gui anymore. This happens for both my personal and shared drives. Surprisingly, I have found one project that I can open, but it contains only one folder and it was shared with me at least a month ago so I don't understand why that is the only project I am able to access through the data panel. Thank you all in advance.

Are you able to open file through File->Open dialogue?

Yes, I am able to do that. It's just that not being able to use the data panel to navigate my designs is annoying. Thank you for your response.

1. Can you confirm on which version of Fusion you are on?

2. The reason we are asking for the invite is to see if on our end we can use the data panel to open the projects and if so that could give us directions on how to address this for you.

Sure! The version of Fusion that I am using is shown below in the photo. And I have just invited you to a project from a while ago which is one that I cannot open. Just for a bit more context to make sure I am not mistaken in my terminology, but I also attached a screenshot of what I am specifically double clicking and cannot open. Interestingly however, I am able to open the fasteners project. Thank you for your support ๐Ÿ˜„

@nolan.cheng.2025 Thank you for the invite. While we continue to look at the issue the version you are on is not the latest. Can you go into Help- check for update?

if that does not show an update , go to Help - support and diagnostics - Fusion service utility and do a repair. This should take you to the newest version 2.0.18460.

Oh my gosh thank you so much. I have no idea how I didn't think to just update the software, but updating it worked :)) I appreciate your timely responses, as I really needed easy access to Fusion for my school work. Thanks again, and have a great rest of your week!

Hi Nolan,

Good to hear that after the version upgrade the issue is resolved.

Is it possible to share Fusion logs for further investigations. We wanted to check what was causing the problem with the older version?

Steps to get the log file

Thanks and Regards,
