can't measure a distance between a skech cuvre to a point.

Hi , everyone

I want to measure the distance between the curve to the point,

But the result is 0mm.

Who know how can measure the curve to the point in this model

(I want to measure the distance to use curve not use curve'vertex) .

If you measure Point to Point, 15.108 mm - maybe you get too much information.

I want to check whether the point is on the line.

so  use point to curve to check the distance,

when distance is 0mm, the point is on the curve.

Are you sure? If I draw a line over the existing line to the point (using the endpoint farthest from the point as the start) then measure the distance between the line and the second point of the existing line it shows zero.

How does that fit with my pic, 

Point to point measure, gave no zero relationship.

As a see it, there may be alignment in one plane but not both.
