Can't manually rotate rigid group in Design

I have some components, one with a slide built-in joint and another connected to it with a revolute built-in joint. I've gotten used to clicking and moving the them manually in the Design to visualize how things move. After which I Revert Position, because I was just moving things to check my concept.

But now I've added a new component that is part of the one that rotates and connected them together with a rigid group. In the Design I can no longer click and drag them to rotate. They're stuck.

The component the group is connected to by a slide joint can still slide, but those groups components just won't rotate.

I've tried a variety of things as workarounds, such as a rigid built-in joint instead of a ridge group, or nesting the new component under the one it joins to in the Browser, but I end up with the same result.

The Motion Study animates properly, with the rigid group rotating as one unit, which implies things are correct, but in the Design I can't click and drag them like I could before.

Shouldn't this work?

Probably.  without the file, the text reads ok, but the As Built joints can be the problem, as they only work on Origins.

Might help....

I ignored my problem and moved on. Sometime along the way I noticed everything was now working as expected. I don't know why, but whatever. Could be on me as I'm just a few weeks into Fusion 360.
If I figure out what my hangup was I'll post it.
