Can't Extend PCD/Center Mark Pattern Lines in all 4 directions (just 2)

I recently discovered the Center Mark Pattern tools autocomplete. It is a real time saver. It recognizes straight patterns which is a real help on sheet metal faceplates (think knob and switch cutouts). But if I want to drag and extend the centermarks, I can only do it in 2 directions, not all 4 like I can if I manually place center marks. Am I missing a magical key combination or something else?

No, you are not missing anything.  This has been true of center marks created using the Automatic Pattern tool for a long time.

Rats. Is there something like the old Idea Station to suggest bugs and fixes?

The Fusion 360 Idea Station was taken down over a year ago.  The best thing you can do is add a new Forum post with a title something like [Feature Improvement or Feature Request] and add your "very descriptive title".  Autodesk says it reads all these post but who knows.  Make sure you are very clear what you want changed.

Good Luck!
