Can't enter dimension of circle, square, etc.

I'm new to Fusion 360 and following some tutorials.

I am attempting to add something simple to a sketch, such as a "Center Diameter Circle".  I click on the grid and start expanding the circle.  A little dialog-box appears with a field where I can type in the dimension.  As soon as I type in the FIRST digit of any number, a yellow lock appears next to the field, and each subsequent digit overwrites the one just typed.  After typing the entire value (and seeing just a single digit displayed), hitting return sets the circle to whatever it was with respect to the cursor, not the field.

Worse, it doesn't do this every time.  Sometimes the field accepts the full value.

I presume this is a bug.

What version of Windows are you running, or are you using a Mac OS?

What happens if you simply click for any size and the Dimension AFTER creating the geometry?

Hi,

If you are using W7, it could be a known problem, but due to the discontinued support (Microsoft and AD), it is no longer handled.
Just in case, I agree to @TheCADWhisperer
1. create geometry
2. dimension geometry
