Can't Emboss total circumference of a cylinder, BUG?

If I create a sketch the same width as the total circumference of a cylinder Emboss gives an error about overlaps. Seems like this should work.

Only workaround seems to be leave a gap then delete the surfaces but this seems like a bodge! See attached file.

Looks like a bug to me.

I will get back to you with more information, for now i have created an internal ticket FUS-82135.

Hi @HughesTooling ,

I had a word with the development team and this is By Design.

To explain in simple terms, When the 2D sketch used completes a full circle, the two ends meet & cause self-intersection.

So, Emboss & Deboss feature doesn't work with the sketch that creates self-intersecting result after wrapping around the target body.
