I want to download Fusion 360 to evaluate against CREO and Solidworks for my school. I can't get past the registration screen, I am welcome to account screen, but the registration screen has been throwing me out for several weeks now...

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Can you expand on what you see? I'm having trouble understanding what might be happening. Also, if you can include a screenshot of any error that appears or what is happening, that would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Unfortunately, that screenshot never attached. Can you please collect all your log files per this guide here. That should give me a better idea of what is going on.

Thanks,

There are no logs, as I have repeatedly said, I have never been able to access the software in the first place
Feel like I'm wasting my time...

Hi @Anonymous,

Ah, my apologies for the confusion. I thought you were at the Fusion login screen, not the website. Since your screenshot did not attach, it was tough to say where it was failing. I understand now, you are on the EDU website and are unable to download Fusion. Here is a direct link for the streamer version of Fusion 360. You can register as a student once you are inside of the software, so no need to worry there.

Regarding the school - that above version of Fusion is meant for individual users. If Fusion is going to be used in a lab setting, I would suggest reading through this help article here on how to set it up in a lab. The big difference is that Fusion normally installs per user, whereas our lab install, installs globally to the machine and does not require admin privileges from the user.

Also, attached is a technical document for the lab install.

Please let me know if you still need help. Would love to get you going, just needed a little more information as to what is going on is all.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing. What operating system are you using? Also, does your computer use 32 bit architecture or 64? Fusion is only supported on 64 bit architecture for Windows 7 and above.

I am experiencing the exact same behavior. Tried both Edge and Chrome browsers and verified I am logged in and form is completely filled out.

Same issue, next button does nothing. Thought it was my pi-hole blocking access, but I even tried it on my phone off my WiFi network and the stupid next button just mocks my clicks.
