Can't Delete Parts (Can't Create Milestones)

Getting back to a fun personal project with Fusion.

I am out of space with the free version using 10 parts. In trying to delete unused parts I get,

"A version of this design has been referenced by drawings, other designs, or manufacturing-related files and cannot be deleted."

My current assembly version does not use nor reference the part I am trying to delete.

I can't delete old versions of the assembly which do contain the part. I thought perhaps Milestones could help, but it seems I can not use them with the free version.

It's crazy how difficult basic housecleaning seems to be. What is the simple/fast solution here?  Thanks in advance.

yes, this is correct.  You cannot delete a design if any version of any other design or drawing references that design.  And yes, there is no way to prune past versions.  Your best bet is to just create a Trash folder, and move those designs into that Trash folder to de-clutter your project as best you can.

You can also download the current version as an archive and re-upload it.  That will create a new design with no past versions, then delete the entire original design top/down.  But, for me, that is not worth the effort...
