Can't delete a file because it says it's in use

i can't delete a file because it says that is in use but it's not?

i have tried all of the things i read about on the side but nothing works?

If any VERSION of the file is in use this will prevent you from erasing a file.  So even if you think it is not in use, you will have to go back through each version and see if it is being used.  This is a problem may people face.  I have set up a folder of files like this and placed them there just to get them out of the way.  Fusion 360 will fix this issue eventually so just bear with it.
