As there is only one body, what would you like to combine?
When you learn to use sketches, you will have a lot shorter timeline.
Might help...
The slotted piece on one end is only connected at either end, I used the same process to do both ends, but one end hasn't joined fully.
The combine tool works with Bodies - more than one.
Your file that was sent only has one body.
Please send the correct file.
Might help….
Would you be willing to start over from scratch with step-by-step instructions to learn how to do this properly?
Start a new file.
Start a New Sketch on the XY Plane.
Sketch the Center point Slot at the Origin as shown.
Add the Dimensions as shown.
Attach your progress file here.
Still waiting for you to complete Step 1 from my previous post.
Do you need a video on how to sketch a Slot?
Sorry I hadn't been back to the forum to se your post, I wil lattempt it today.
I have done the first part.
You should observe that your sketch does not look like the sketch in the image.
You are missing the 79 dimension?
You have blue lines in your sketch - blue lines should keep you awake at night.
Observe that you do not have a red lock symbol on your sketch in the browser (this means there is missing information).
Attach your corrected file here for the next set of steps.
When you are ready to continue - it should only take us 5-10 minutes to complete this model...
If you are going to 3D Print this - I have some suggestions on design changes that will save material.
Hi, I am at work again today, but I should be able to do it. you mentioned a video to start the sketch, as I missed something when I did it.
I am in New Zealand UTC +13, tomorrow i will be at work from UTC 0630 until UTC 1500. Hopefully that is a time frame that suits you.
Just post your update to the sketch and then I will post next step.
We will go through this step-by-step as each of us completes on our own time availability.
I have redone the sketch.
I have done that and it seems to have locked it again.

Nope. This is an astoundingly bad interface choice by Autodesk. Sometimes I can't believe they have ever taught beginners how to use design software.
Your sketch is green - that means that you used the Fix Constraint.
Never ever ever (well almost never) use the Fix Constraint. In 24 years of using Parametric Sketching, I have used Fix maybe twice.
Window select the geometry and select Fix again to toggle Unfix.
Your sketch should now be black rather than green (but the red lock symbol indicating fully defined will still appear on the sketch in the browser - you see how the developers made this confusing). They used the same glyph for two different functions.
Pinging @CGBenner
Now sketch a circle on the left side as shown (we only need one as later we will Mirror the features).
Trim out the pieces of the circle as shown below...
Dimension the remaining arc as R30mm.
Then add the tangent angled line as shown, dimension the angle and trim the arc above the line.
(Don't confuse the extension line of the arc dimension with the normal Line of the sketch geometry in the image.)
Attach your progress file here.
I can't work out how to add the tangent.
