Can't combine bodies

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello everyone, I can not combine bodies. Here is what I checked already.

*Bodies are touching each other, they have contact.

*All bodies are solid (one designed from surface tab, but now it's stiched up. And filled with "Boundary Fill")

File will be below thanks for help.

Hopefully you'll have some time on your hands paired with a bit of patience.

Am I correct in assuming that you want to 3D print this when done ?

First, you should always fully constrain and dimension your sketches.

Secondly, when something is symmetric, it saves a lot of unnecessary sketch work to only sketch half of it and then mirror the 3D geometry.

There are more things that need improvement but let's start with the above.

I'm not sure I understand. Can you use simpler words?

Btw I will split this to 3 bodies after i shell them and edit for motor mount etc. , I will print each part on another 3d printer. But that's after, first I need to combine bodies. Which I didn't understand how I should do.

Not sure I can use simpler words if I don't know which words you did not understand.

You likely will not be able to shell any of this in its current form, regardless if you can combine it r not.

The geometry is bad in some areas and that needs to be fixed first.

This part i guess.

First, you should always fully constrain and dimension your sketches.

I tried mirroring, didn't work. Because object is not symmetric at all. It's 2PM here so my head is about to explode now. So what kind of fix you suggest? What's the exact problem and what did you mean by bad geometry?
