Can not extrude field between to draws

HI, please I am looking for advise . I can not extrude fiel between two draws, I have put two sample lines and small part wont turn blue, draws are in same sketch...fields is as arrow point

I draw small samle in righ bottom  corner...

If this were my design I would break up into several sketches.

Sketch for Face

Sketch for Left Eye

Sketch for Right Eye

Sketch for Body

Sketch for Left Ear

Sketch for Right Ear

Sketch for Left Paw

Sketch for Right Paw... and so forth.

You can tie sketches together with P for Project geometry.

Keep individual sketches simple.
