The software refuses to launch, run as normal I get an error saying "Can not Create temp folder Archive"

When run as administrator, CantOpenError: unable to open database file.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Hi,

Is this a new installation of Fusion 360, or was it running on this machine previously?

Have you tried a full - reinstall?

Thanks,

Just to be clear, you tried this:

I opened the .exe file in 7zip (my zip archiver) and extracted all the files to a folder. From there I opened the .exe in the parent folder and the update/ install started working.

And you only got 3% more progress? The reason I gave you that link is this issue is known as a 7zip issue that rarely happens for individuals, but not a general problem.

At some point, can you try doing a full clean uninstall/reinstall? The manual steps are listed here.
