Can I create a drawing section view with a custom orientation from a named view?

Hi guys -

I'd like to be able to include a section view in a drawing that is viewed from a specific angle (for which I have a named view from the design). Is this possible?

Here is the view I'd like to recreate in a drawing. I have saved this orientation as a named view.

I can create a base view from that orientation, but it's not sectioned. Example:

I can create a section view from a standard view (e.g. Right), and then created a projected isometric view from that section. That comes close, but the isometric view is not exactly the angle I'd like to see. But the projected isometric view doesn't let me change the view orientation.

Any way to do it?

Thanks!

EDIT: Apologies that this may have been in the support forum not the help forum? I can't seem to find a way to move it or remove the post - any assistance there would be appreciated.

Please attach the model you are illustrating with.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

There is no provision to take a Section Analysis, from the Design Workspace, and place it in a 2D Drawing.  You can, with a little effort, fake it.  The Section view is no issue and automatic but the section hatch lines have to be added manually.  I did mine in a couple of minutes but you could take your time and make it look pretty good.  I have attached your model with the Named View I used but not the associated drawing I created.

Thanks John for both confirming that I couldn't do it the way I wanted, but providing a video of the workaround.

I'm not too excited to split that body and/or make the design messier with a duplicate, but I'll play around and see. Appreciate it.
