Fusion updated last night and now the ability to edit the machine configuration has disappeared? What gives, it was there yesterday? I was working on getting a post to work with my Thermwood C-70 5 axis machine and getting close, I leave for dinner Fusion had updated itself now there is no way to edit, verify what my chosen machine configurations are? I can only choose, mill, turning or millturn, cutting

any ideas, they move it?Capture.JPG

Hi @salesHSMXH

This is a known issue and the devs are working on it. In the meantime, the workaround is as follows:

Warning to anyone about to try the following workaround: do not turn on any of the other selections in this dialog. These are under development and are not supported. They are very unreliable and we do not recommend using them.

Open the Feature Flags dialog by opening up your text commands window (File -> View), make sure that the "txt" option is set, and enter "CAM.FeatureFlags". This will bring up a dialog to allow you to manipulate the feature flags directly.

To activate the machine selection, enable the one called "machine-configuration".

Once you do this, it should stay set in later sessions.

Let me know if that worked for you!

Hi @salesHSMXH

I made a screencast to show what I'm talking about. Check your preferences first to make sure the "machine configurations" box is checked - if it is and machines are still not showing up, type "CAM.FeatureFlags" in the text command line.

Warning to anyone about to try the following cam.featureflags workaround: do not turn on any of the other selections in this dialog. These are under development and are not supported. They are very unreliable and we do not recommend using them.

Did that work?

this fixed it. I think the update turned it off because I didn't, interesting.

Hi John,

I apologize for the delay! The setting must have just turned off when you updated. You can click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen, click preferences. On the last tab called "preview", check the box next to "Manufacture workspace- machine configurations". Then click apply. Does this help?
