Disclaimer: Before someone flames me; yes, I know the thermistor wires don't attach to the heater cartridge. My wire bundle is a single body to ease revolving and lofting. 😉
I wanted a quick little 90° corner cap on the wire bundle body. I received a C math library error when trying to combine the main body with the revolved cap.
Running video commentary:
00:00 Creating the revolve.
00:36 Combine and error.
00:49 I think the point along this curve may be causing the math error. Might be getting a DIV by zero or some INF value.
01:01 Trying to mitigate by extruding from the revolve then combining with that instead.
01:08 Extrude worked but quietly failed to join, creating a new body.
01:20 Combine and error.
01:23 My trying to figure out what just happened, ie: why am I dealing with three bodies (main bundle, revolve, and extrusion). I didn't receive any error when I extruded and joined, so assumed it worked. My machine's breathing became labored at this point and the screen refresh dropped through the floor.
02:07 Believing the tight corner on the small wires to be the problem, I made a few attempts to delete them on the revolve.
02:34 With the small wires deleted, I successfully create the combine then color the faces.
03:21 Fin. I'd like to thank the Academy...
