C axis issue on Millturn post processor

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am having an issue with my post processor C axis output, when i do an Adaptive toolpath and position the C axis it works fine but when i try and do a continuous C axis Contour around the part after the Adaptive toolpath the C axis Zero has changed position and the Contour starts cutting in the wrong position on the part. I am unsure if it is the post or something wrong in the Cam toolpath i am using. The post is the Takisawa millturn with Fanuc control. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you share a sample file?

Is this an error that occurs at the machine, or is it visible in the CAM Simulation/posted code?

Hi Seth this only happens at the machine. The cam simulation does not show any problems.

Can you share a sample file and the posted NC code, along with an indication where this issue occurs?
