I'm trying to find information what consequences there is from moving for fusion 360 true inventor I working at a job shop and we just got a new engineer don't know how to use fusion 360 and want inventor Ann Walt at this time we have two licence fusion 360. I am arguing for staying at fusion 360

Becausr the cam and the mission report system if I'm right the campsite on inventor is about five to six years behind fusion today and I am also afraid they will be too much data lossed by converting fusion 360 to inventor at this time I'm trying to get a clear picture off the situation one of the arguments is at data a more safe locally  in fusion 360 sky I'm afraid of there should be lozt many thousand hours of data are there anyone they have some insight to this situation

ps.

Today I make 60% of all the drawings and 100% of all the missing reports and 100% all Cam programmes o originall recently we took fusion 360 becausr it's can fill out all our needs we have been using many different cat systems before and wanted two together it one system two years ago infusion had the quality to do that we have an old mastercam licence and mostly off fusion 360 features could fill out the same work.

The engineer we have take care of bigger projects and make the paperwork I'm not able to because I'm dyslexic

I have the last word if change from fusion 360 to inventor

So I want to be sure my decision is the right one for the right reason

Fusion files cannot be opened in Fusion directly, you'd have to convert them to a STEP file. Thus, you would lose the CAM data.

If the new team member knows Inventor, it's not a large task to bring them up to speed on Fusion. I strongly suggest sticking with that, the CAM development is on a fast path to becoming "best in class", as are the other areas of Fusion. Yes, there are some "bumps" here and there, but it's improving constantly.
