In sketch, if you create a rectangle. Their needs to be a better way to move the rectangle from the center. For example in the Move command with the point-to-point option.  You could have a snap option that creates the center point of the rectangle.

 

My work around is I create a rectangle. I then draw two diagonal lines from the corners. Then I create a point in the center of those intersecting diagonal lines. Now I can move the rectangle from the center point. Unfortunately, I have to do this twice if I'm moving a rectangle to another rectangle.

There is no need to do all those sketch lines to find the center point of a rectangle sketch.  All you need to do is use a Center Point Rectangle and it is created for you automatically.
