First, I'm excited to see the Parameters panel get some love. Thanks for that.

Second, you can't seem to undo in it anymore.

1) Have Automatic Update checked so you can see what's changing

2) Make a change to an expression

(watch it reflect itself in the design)

3) Command/Control Z

Nothing happens. You have to exit the panel and then Undo. If you've made a couple changes, you'll end up undoing all of them.

Not a bug as much as a lack of feature.
Control Z does nothing inside the dialog. Once you close it however, a "Parameters changed" event is added to the edit history and that's what you can undo if you want but as you say, that entry contains all the edits done inside the dialog.

This seems to be some sort of platform-level lack of undo stack support at dialog level. At least this dialog is (accidentally?) smart enough not to close itself when you hit CTLR-Z. Others, the non-modal ones, take the CTRL-Z as a cancellation of themselves instead of the tiny edit made to one of their value fields.

Doh. You're right. I ran back to check one of my machines that hadn't updated yet. Undo closes the parameters panel. That's a bummer. If it was a regression, maybe it'd stand a better chance of getting fixed.

Now I wish I hadn't said anything. They'll probably close the new panel now 😉
