BUG: Library panel sort

Starting on about 20NOV23, the sort settings in the library panel on the left side of the display developed a bug. When changing the sort between "Sort by Last Updated" and "Sort by Name", the results do not respond on the first change. The second and subsequent changes do produce a response, but it is the opposite of the requested sort. For example, when "Sort by Last Updated" is selected, the panel shows the results for "Sort by Name", and vice versa.

We are also having this issue. Across multiple user accounts and PCs.  Started around the same time, mid Nov. 
I have tried clearing the cache and reinstalling without success.

Hitting refresh at the top of the data panel does generate the correct (currently selected) sort order.
Its a better work around for now than having to switch the sort order twice every time you open a folder.
