BUG: Drawing space new revision in table not updating in title block

After the update to fusion today the revision reference in the title bock is no longer updating when making a new revision. When the revision table is placed in a sheet i cannot edit the revision text in the title block. However, if i delete the revision table from the drawing i can manually update the title block and then place the revision table after all sheets have been corrected.

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX ,

Thanks for reporting and apologies that you are facing an issue.

If there is revision table placed in drawing, the revision shall automatically get updated in the title block as and when new revision is added in table.

Try deleting the revision attribute from title block and place new one and check if that works.

Please let me know if you still face an issue.

Thanks,

This issue appeared after fusion updated to

Fusion 360 2.0.15050 x86_64

Previously the revision text have updated instantly to the latest revision marker in the revision table and worked great. Now it does not update unless i press reset properties in the dialog box. but then all the manually inputted data is removed.

I cannot select or edit the revision text in the title block as long as there is a revision table present in the drawing. I can delete the revision table, then edit the revision text manually on each sheet, and then insert the revision table again. The revision table retain all information after deletion so i just have to place it again after manually done all changes.

If there were more global and sheet properties/texts available i would not have to manually put in all the other information in multiple cells in the title block on each sheet. I have over 130 pages total over several drawings and it is a lot of manual work to update. It is like working with software from the 1980s

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX ,

I tried to follow the steps you mentioned on latest Fusion update 2.0.15291, where I unable to reproduce the issue, please refer attached GIF.

if we are missing something in workflow, it would be helpful for us, if you can attach video or gif.

Thanks you

SOLVED .. user error .. there is a setting under document settings where you can set the scope of the revision to Sheet or Document ... I wanted to change the revisions of individual sheets.
