Browser Windows Un-Minimize When Fusion Starts Up

I'm on a Mac, OS v. 10.13.6, using Safari v. 11.1.2, and when Fusion starts/restarts, it un-hides all of my minimized browser windows. Sometimes it also sends the windows to other workspaces. I was unable to find reports of similar behavior. (Searches return overwhelming amounts of unrelated issues, I can't find good keywords specific to my issue.) I've observed this problem for about a year now. It's not consistently reproducible - it doesn't often happen a second time if I immediately re-minimize the affected Safari windows, quit Fusion and restart it. But it seems to be a near-daily occurrence and I've resorted to just not quitting Fusion unless I have to shut my machine down. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

~Joe

Hi @jwg.catchall,

Thank you for reporting the issue! Would you mind recording a screencast of the issue or attach some screenshots so I can better understand what is going on? I'd like to make sure I understand the issue correctly before providing any information or escalating this to the development.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I exit Fusion with Safari windows minimized in the Dock:

Fusion re-starts normally:

Some time after the second splash screen is displayed, but before the
Fusion project browser/editor UIs show up, my Safari windows spontaneously
un-minimize from the Dock:

Thanks again,

Hi @jwg.catchall,

Thank you for your response! It seems like the images were not attached properly.

Could you try attaching the images again as I'm having difficulty reproducing the issue? Also, a screencast of the issue would be helpful as well.

I have this issue too, and it's very annoying. This happens whenever Fusion updates and has to change what app the dock icon is pointing to (~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/webdeploy/production/[UUID]/Autodesk Fusion 360.app). In order to ensure the dock icon actually updates, the devs are killing the Dock process, which causes all the minimized windows to un-minimize. The same behavior can be observed by typing "pkill Dock" in Terminal. Perhaps there is a less brutal method for making this change?

The dock icon used to point to a symlink to the actual app, but that resulted in a little arrow on the dock icon, which is why I presume they switched to this method.
