browser/design tree problem

I open a lot of STP files that are provided by my customers. The design tree never shows the part numbers associated with the file. I have attached two jpeg files. One is a screen dump of a stp file I opened. The second is a dump from my B.O.M. I need to get fusion to show the part numbers and not the Nomenclature . Is there a preference setting I am? Has any one had this issue also?  missing?
