Bounding box incorrect sizes

Hi

I have just noticed that the bounding box is giving me a different size to the actual model which I have created .

I have  a helical thread form which measures 137.53 on my other cad system and which also measures 137.53 when I take the component into drawings.

When I enquire the same detail in measurement it gives me a bounding box size of 138.38 .

Any idea why this would give a different dimension or is this a glitch .

Regards Graeme

Hi @GRAEMESUQ2Y,

Can you share an example model which shows this problem?  I think that, in general, the bounding box in Fusion is not always guaranteed to be as small as possible, but we can investigate.

Thanks,

Jeff

Please attach the model in question, give details of what you are checking.  Just in case you do not know how to share your model.  Open the model you want to share, select the File Menu, then click on Export and save the F3D to your hard drive.  In a Forum reply post use the Attachment section, in the lower section of the reply, to attach your file.
