Recently had to send my main computer, Macbook Pro into get serviced, so started to use my IMac to continue working with fusion 360. Now I have my Macbook Pro back, I can't open a lot of files - am getting the following error.

Please advise as have deadlines I need to meet... Is there a work around?

Hi @luresKQFHC,

Sorry to see that you're facing this problem.

Please follow below steps to fix the problem

  1. go to below folder location
    • C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\[UNIQUE OXYGEN ID]\W.wwwwip1fqa
  2. Take a backup of 'F' Folder (Copy the F folder to different Location)
  3. Delete all the files and folders in "W.wwwwip1fqa"
  4. Restart fusion and see if the problem got fixed

If the issue still happens, then please send me complete log files

You can collect them from

  • Help -> Support & Diagnostics ->Diagnostics log files.
  • This will generate a zip file that you can upload.

@luresKQFHC,

Before taking backup of F folder, can you please collect Diagnostic log files and attach here to the next reply?

and also confirm, If the same machine was used by multiple users to login Fusion 360 application?

Sure please see attached.

That solution seemed to work. I will let you know if I encounter the issue again.

No, not different fusion logins/users. Just different MacOS logins, which where I think the problem is. One install is on the Imac under as 'local admin', the other is on the Macbook Pro using a custom user.

Thanks
