Steps:

- apply a shell operation to a body

- then delete it -> body is no longer painted

In your steps, you do not mention anything about adding an appearance to your body but if that is what you did, then the issue your describe, I do not see on my model.  Maybe you could attach your problem model for the Forum to look at.

 

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Nope, it is a rendering issue. Body must be repainted.

Must make a video...

Actually, Fusion behaviour looks worse... could be an issue related to my computer platform...
