Body does not move in sketch

Body does not move in sketch

So I inserted 2 derives to make sure that my sketch fits those 2 models. I created a sketch, but I could not press pull the sketch I created because my imported object interfered with the sketch I created.

I moved the object to the right, but when I pressed "edit sketch" the object reappeared where it had been bedore.

I need to move it away.

Thank you

You have a move feature in your timeline after the sketch- presumably the body in question. This is a common misconception of the timeline, you'll need to either position that move feature before the body (which might violate projected dependencies) or what i would recommend is extrude anyway as nothing has to interfere with a sketch profile. You can extrude, new body, new component without joining or cutting any profile. Thus keeping body and sketch in place and not needing to move anything.

But for extrude I need to select the right profile, in my case is just a rectangular. But the rectangular is crossed by the profile of the imported object.

Normally, if the profile includes projected geometry that you do not want you can:

A) pick all profiles anyway and Fusion will treat it as one single profile

B) Make the objects defining multiple profiles from the projected geometry construction geometry so they are not computed as profile geometry. This is my preference.
