Bodies skewing when scaled

I am working on part of a prop and I have run into an interesting issue when trying to scale bodies I am working on. When scaled uniformly, everything seems to work as expected, but when I scale in just the x-axis, the whole body gets skewed to one side.

Interestingly enough a similar effect can be seen when I download the body as an stl and import it into Cura. This is the first time I've used the sheet metal options in making a model, so I don't know if that has something to do with what's going on (there seems to be some lost reference geometry that I don't know how to recover). Any help on this  would be appreciated. The file is attached.

scale uses the coordinate system from the component that owns the body.  You have a 3.6 degree angle between Component1 and the root (global) coordinate system.

and, I forgot to add, more importantly, that 3.6 degree angle exists between the cylinder and Component1's Z axis.  Hopefully that was obvious.

Yeah that did it. Thanks.
