Blocks with same names act strange when moving objects

Hello, I'm having major problems with some of the data I get from our customer. Some of these blocks/components have the same exact name, they were probably copied or mirrored/flipped because they needed multiple of the same part for their project.

Whenever I try to move a component that exists multiple times, the other blocks with the same name move too. This only happens when I use the move tool. I can use click-drag without problems.

It's driving me insane, is there any way to fix this? Renaming doesn't help.

When I rename a component, the other mirrored component gets renamed as well.

I am unfortunately not allowed to share any data, and I am unable to recreate this with the tools I have available.

Thanks for any help. Please see attached video.

Best regards,

Frank.

Hard to see but it looks like you have move set to bodies so you are moving the body within a component so that body will move in all of the copied components.

Try with move set to components. Also you might want to download screencast so you can get better recordings of what you're doing.

Changing the setting to "Component" has worked, thank you a lot!
