Hi

I am trying to see if a flex cable from an LCD reaches the control panel. I have the drawing of the lcd (2,1" https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000545036225.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.4fed1802Ok...) and I did the LCD part, and draw the flex cable as a separate body. Converted to sheet metal, and bent it, but the bend actually makes the 'cable' part longer, and that defeats my purpose. Can I somehow tell fusion to use the current sketch as the 'flat pattern'?

Yes I know I could draw a spline, maybe I'll do that, but the shape of the cable is a bit flunky, couldnt do that from a spline.

pic of before and after bend, also attached f3d file. Thanks!

Edit the Sheet Metal Rule for the Convert body and change the K Factor to "1".

Did my suggestion to change the K Factor to "1" work for you?

If so, please select the "Accept Solution" icon to do three things. First it allows others to find a solution to a similar question, two, it closes the Forum post and last, it acknowledges that you accept the solution given. If you need further help, please ask. If you like to read why "Accept Solutions are important, take a look at this webpage.
