You did not attach your graphic file you are using for your Canvas but the attached video will show you a method I use to place my Canvas. Please attach your graphic and I will work with it if you need further help.

I have included an Animated GIF that shows the insertion of a Canvas and how it stays centered when you enlarge it. This graphic does not need a sketch to center it. Using Fusion for 2 days, it take time to learn a complex application. I have been using it over 8 years and am still learning.

Here is a video you can play over and over and I created it slowly. It is only four picks, command, file, sketch plane and then the enlarge icon on the corner. Remember, the video takes a few minutes for the Forum to process it.
