Automatic Save of Design when Drawing is selected

I don't think that this used to happen, but now, when I move from Design space to Drawing, an automatic save of the design is initiated.  This is paying havoc with version control as well as putting a delay in the process while the save is being made.

Where do I find the control for turning this feature off please?

Hi,

This is only the case if you create a new drawing after changing the design. However, you can also open an existing drawing and switch to this drawing via the tab without saving.

Indeed @g-andresen .  Thank you for your response.  However I don't recall this as having been the case before.  Once again it seems like Autodesk are dictating how I will work - for no justifiable reason!

this has always been the case.  You've always had to save the source design before creating a new drawing.  Same as you have to save the top-level assembly before inserting an external design into it.
