Auto generate toolpaths after adding template, can this be switched off with a toggle?

I have a template for machining cabinets, before the update I could add a template and select al the appropriate opps, delete unused opps for that particular cabinet make the required selections for each opp, and the toolpath was generated after i clicked OK or hit generate on the automated ones.

I have some automated toolpaths that recognize slots, pockets, holes etc.

With the new update the toolpaths automatically start generating after being added from the template. Some take ages, since they require a selection of a certain face.

I have disabled the 'auto generate toolpath on operations change' from the preferences, this solves the issue of the auto generated toolpaths after a template has been loaded, but after adding the template and making the required selections on the parts-to-be-machined, i click OK, and this feature prevents the toolpath from being generated then.

So both situation are not efficient for me. Can the 'auto generate after inserting the template' be switched off with a toggle? Or can this be added so i can work more efficient again? (like before the update). Perhaps (i hope) there is an option that i am not aware of.
