Arrange Tool Issue

Hi there - I am having a simple problem with the arrange tool where I want to select a plane but there is no plane to select:

It looks like they updated this tool?  I feel like I'm missing something simple here of course.  Thanks in advance!

The plane the dialog is referring to is the sketch plane you are going to sketch out your material blank to arrange on.  It can be an origin plane, or a construction plane created by you.

I probably was not completely clear in my previous answer.  Normally you would create a sketch, representing the material sheet you are going to arrange on.  The new option allows you to use a plane to create the arrangement on.  The Screencast will show you this.

Ok thank you - it used to be that I could just choose either the xyz plane without having to create a sketch or offset plane.  Thank you!

You can pick any plane you desire.  I just used an offset plane to get the Arrange command results away from my model.  If you have an answer to your post, please mark the solution with Accept Solution so others can find the answer to similar problems.

Ok, but that was my original problem - I couldn't pick a plane at all as shown in the screenshot above.  After I looked at your response I used the offset plane (without offsetting) to select the "plane" I wanted.  That was the only way I could pick a plane.  I would love to just pick a plane as before...I guess I'm just missing something there?
