Application just gives black screen

Starting Fusion 360 now gives a nice black box on top of the window, you have to kill it in the taskmanager if you want to see another black box, you can start it again.. If you drag it, you move the underlying white box and that is it..

It popped up a message about the Screen Cast uploading something in the background without my permission, and I presume it was a screen capture that I made back when I thought that I could use it to capture company confidental video, from my screen, and killed it (and did NOT want it uploaded) a long time ago, pretty sure 360 worked after that..  God, I'd love to be able to pay $300 for a version I could download on to my machine that doesn't change unless I ask it to, and I can save to my local machine, but I'm stuck with the stupid free version that doesn't freaking work and something changed, maybe the cloud protocol changed or something...

When it works, it is amazing, when it doesn't (70% of the time), I end up fighting with it all the time...

(On the other machine, I extruded a coin, and then created a sketch on it and extruded it ALL in both directions, and never hit the coin??? BUT another drawing that I also included hit it just fine and cut through the body...  I can't seem to figure out how to move steps forward and backward in the history, so I can't align all the steps to make the body together first (I had two parts, and I wanted to combine them, so I need to extrude the two pieces and then combine, such a crappy UI I can't figure out how to do that...

Sorry, my blood pressure is about through the roof, and I'm being rude in this question...

Uninstalled and reinstalled... and Yep!  I get the same stupid black screen with a white screen I can move behind it...

Windows 10, latest updates... Did it die for everyone else on the planet too?

Oh, and if you wait long enough, Windows says the app isn't responding and do you want to kill it.

Rule #1 of Windows programming:  Respond to the OS, THEN show your loading screen, and queue everything as background threads... This simply can't happen in a well written app.. (I'm a Software Architect)... Even in Windows 30 I never did this...

Maybe you no longer support a 2070 graphics card?

Hi @AutoDesk99UGT

Have a look at this support article, it may point you in the right direction.

It fixed it, but I don't have dual graphic cards, just dual 4K Monitors using a single NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070

I don't see any other adapters in the system configuration.

Hopefully, someone is working on a fix, other than the work-around...

Thanks for the solution!
