Apple Memory issues Mac OS 12.0.1 and Fusion 360 2.0.11415

Not applicable

I noticed that after I transferred a small construction to new drawing from design and try to print, the memory (52GB) gets full and I receive error messages. After killing the Fusion process, the memory does not get released even the Fusion process is terminated. Looks like there is an process in the back, that still keeps the memory and does not release it.
From my point of view, not release the memory should not happen.

Am I wrong?

Regards, Rolf

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the forums 🙂

I believe that the development teams are still working on official support for mac Monterey. Right now Big Sur is the latest macOS version that is supported, see the system requirements here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-Autodesk-Fusion-360.html

But we can still try to get it to work! Please try the following workflow to see if this resolves the problem:

  • Reboot your mac
  • Fire up Fusion 360
  • Clear your cache
  • Create and print the drawing (hopefully this time it will be successful!)

If this does not work, please send us your diagnostic logs to have a look at. It would also be useful if you could share the dataset with us, the best way is via an F3Z file. You can attach the logs and F3Z file here, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com
