Appearances Not Showing up in Render Mode

Hi,

I'm having an issue where some of my custom appearances aren't showing up in rendering mode, while showing up just fine in design space.  The software was already acting a bit funky in this respect, as some (default) appearances wouldn't show up in rendering mode after I'd applied them in design space, requiring me to apply them in render space as well.  However, my custom appearances aren't showing up at all in render space, no matter how I coax them, neither in the preview, in-canvas renderings, local renderings, nor cloud renderings.  They are instead rendered as flat white.

I suspect this may be due to me pushing Fusing way out of its comfort zone, as I'm using it to visualize architecture with an assembly ~60m across.  I normally use Fusion to design for laser cutting, and am quite inexperienced, so it may be that this is a simple case of user error, in which case I apologize.

This is blocking me from handing in an exam project at school, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This was a case of user error; I had a ground plane above the items in question.

I didn't find a way to edit the post title, otherwise I'd have marked this one clearly.
