Appearances not able to be applied

Hi,

I have a design for a workbench and was able to add some appearances initially. After removing them I can no longer add any appearances at all. For instance when I select the top as the current item and pull up appearances I can drag them over the part but they won't take?

Thanks!

it seems to work for me.  Are, you, by any chance working in "Command Color Cycling" mode?

Hi,

No I wasn't even aware of that mode but no...I was doing just what you are doing but the color just wont take.

It did fine when I first created the drawing but after a bit of trying different colors it just stopped. Thinking back there was some message about reverting back appearance or something.

Anyway...Thanks for confirming it's not the drawing!!
