API sketch on construction plan along a path is incorrectly rotated 90 degrees

I have a long script to read in airfoil coordinates and produce bodies for 3D printing molds to make carbon fibre hydrofoils. The airfoils are sketched on a series of construction planes produced by distance along a path.  The script has worked well for over a year but now, possibly with a Fusion 360 update, the sketches are incorrectly orientated plus 90 degrees or minus 90 degrees to the correct orientation.  I read in x y coordinates and produce a sketchfittedspline.  It seems the method to place the sketch on the construction plane is not robust now, and not correctly orientated.  Is there a way to ensure the local coordinate axes of the sketch plane are correctly aligned in relation to the global axes.  Note that the construction planes are angled to the global x axis only.  ie. the path for the construction planes is a curve drawn on the global YZ plane.  Many thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction to fix this.

The screen grab attached shows the issue.  3 of the airfoils have been manually rotated into the correct orientation.  All others are as read in with the script. There is a 3D curve showing the leading edge and trailing edge of the hydrofoil, and a 3D curve in the YZ plane for construction plane development.  RED axis X   Blue axis Z  Green axis Y
