Hi guys,
Just ran into an odd issue in the Animation workspace. I'm putting together some basic animations for product instructional videos and was trying to rotate two components around a pin. When I went to select the pin as my pivot with the Transform tool open I needed to zoom in and grab that selection, so I clicked View to stop the recording (so I could zoom in without capturing the camera). I did this when the select pivot option was active.
This paused the camera capture and closed the Transform tool. When opening the Transform tool back up, it seems to be locked in the 'select pivot' mode while only showing the 'select components' button. Since the select pivot option is only visible once a component has been selected, you end up locked in to this selection mode. Clicking components in the design tree or the browser window doesn't select them.
The only easy way to resolve this was to restart Fusion (switching environments to Design and back to Animation didn't change this).
There are two other workarounds I've been able to get to work: I've noticed sometimes you can grab a point on the edge of a component to get through the selection filter and then you're presented the green checkbox to exit the select pivot mode (like shown above). Sometimes I'm presented the green checkbox right away, sometimes there's no button to exit the select pivot mode. Both of these seem sporadic, and short of randomly clicking the part until I get the checkbox to click to exit this selection mode there's no clear way to get out of it.
Here's the screencast of replicating the issue: https://somup.com/cZQbIQmkHy
