Am I missing something? No shortcut for panning besides middle click?

Are there any shortcuts besides the middle mouse button for panning?? I've looked high and low for a solution and can't find any. Seems kind of crazy that there is no option to at least create some kind of keyboard shortcut to use the pan tool. Apple mouses don't come with a middle button... The user is basically locked into that one shortcut, and if you don't have the right mouse you're out of luck?

I can tell you based on 30 years of experience that if you want to work productively with a CAD application you should use a regular mouse with a scroll-click wheel.

I've tried for a year to get comfortable with the Apple Magic Mouse in a 3D application even using extras apps (MagicPrefs etc). Id just id not work out.

I do not think you will find any shortcut key for Pan.  You of course do have the Pan command in the Fusion 360 Navigation Panel you can fall back to.

Thanks for the reply Peter. I appreciate the input but it does seem silly that there is not at least an option to create a shortcut. I can navigate all shortcuts with the magic mouse besides pan. I'm a hobbyist, and don't feel like buying a new mouse just to pan in Fusion! Going through the forums, there are other people who want this option, so there's a definitely a demand. Just looking for the option!

I completely agree with you. It would make perfect sense to utilize the space bar (hold down) to pan the work area.

If you spend a lot of time in a 3D CAD software I strongly recommend getting a 3DConnexion device for navigation.
