So trying to clean up library of some old F360 files.
Some are confounding.
"A version of this design has been referenced by drawings, other designs, or manufacturing-related files and cannot be deleted."
The file in question doesn't have any dependencies in sketching or modelling. Literally was a one off single sketch for a square jig. When I check "Used in..." in the file details, it confirms "This item is not referenced in an other designs."
I read something about drawings being referents. There is a drawing, but no apparent way to delete the drawing first. I read somewhere else about needing to delete the contents of the drawing in order to break the reference, but that doesn't seem to work.
Seems.....dumb that F360 doesn't just identify what the references are and allow a force or chain delete. Or that you can't delete a drawing and have to "clear" the drawing board (if that is a real thing).
So question remains - how does one delete such a file? I have a bunch the same.
