@clint Is this on multiscreen setup? Any possibility that multiple Fusion sessions are running?

1. Would it be possible to force quit Fusion 360
2. Restart the machine
3. Try the same scenario again?

Yes, multiple-screen machine. Same one I've been using for 3 years.

No, only one session running.

No need to *force* quit Fusion.  It works as expected and exits fine.

Did a full shut-down, go cold, boot fresh - still did the same thing.

Then I posted the bug.

Nudge.
Anyone able to lend a hint about this?
Or even say if you can reproduce it?
Or a request for more details/info?

@clint Apologies for the not replying earlier. No updates here. Still trying to get to reproduce this in house to see what could be happening.

Are you running the application full screen? If you are not can you try running it full screen and see if the problem goes away? Still trying to figure out why this could occur. We have not had anyone else report this problem and since we cannot reproduce this in house making this a little more difficult to diagnose.

Good morning...

Yes running full screen on Monitor 2.

But you did send me on a path of experimenting.  After I Window-ize it, move it to another monitor then maximize it again, the splash screen closes.  Its almost as if its looking for an event to trigger its closing.  Like... When it sees the main window change state from Windowed to Maximized that's the trigger for the splash screen to close.

Honestly, I could live with that. If all I need to do is trick it, and window/max it one time per day at first launch in the morning that's no hardship.  If nobody else is reporting it, let it go as its clearly some magic combination of monitor adapters, drivers, and multi-monitor utilities.

@clint I can certainly look to see if I can replicate this with the information you provided.

Another thing to try would be:

1. Close Fusion 360 in monitor #1
2. Launch again in full screen mode in monitor #1
3. Move Fusion 360 to monitor #2

I want to assume that the splash screen does not show up in this situation?

You're exactly right - once Fusion360 makes window state changes like that the splash screen closes
