Hi all, Before you crucify me on such a dumb question, I did search a few different keywords, no luck. The worker who normally ran this program left recently and took his skill with him, so I basically know nothing. Thanks in advance for being nice.
Basically I am creating 2d DXF files for our laser machine to cutout of sheet metal. Since the other worker left I have taken over the new part design and fumbled my way through Fusion 360 to the point I have a finished sketch and it looks great. Was also able to figure out the proper way to save as DXF. Problem is, when I import the DXF file on the laser machine it just shows a straight line. Re-opening the file in Fusion 360 it does the same thing. It is showing nothing but a straight line as the front view. If I rotate the sketch to top view, the sketch comes back. I fumbled my way through figuring out the drop down menu where it says "set current view as" and I selected "front" then saved the file again. But that did nothing. I have to get these parts cut TODAY and I am running out of time and patience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
