Hi everyone,

I had to reboot my Computer and reinstall everything (same exact windows 11 software and same exact hardware).

Unfortunatly, now Fusion360 crashes after I click on the "connexion" button on launcher.
I tried reinstallations in admin, updating OS, updating drivers, uninstal/reinstal C++, uninstal/reinstal AdskIdentityManager and adsso.

Nothing seems to work, maybe i'm doing something wrong.

Heres the crash's details (in french, sorry) :

Date/Heure: 2023-09-08 13:16:13 +02:00
Application: AdskIdentityManager.exe
Erreur: Access violation - code c0000005 (first/second chance not available)
Nom du module bloqué: IdServicesCore.dll
Adresse de l'exception: 0x00007ffae7c60cee
Code d'exception: c0000005

Thanks

@UwUMR What other Autodesk products have you installed on this machine? Which version of Autodesk Identity manager did you reinstall? Technically if you have only Fusion 360 you do not need to have Autodesk Identity Manager installed.

I only have Fusion360, but I instaled identity manager after several login crashes according to a support article (wich is, after verification, dedicated to a similar issue but on AutoCAD and AutoCAD Lt)

@UwUMR Can you please do the following?

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Uninstall Autodesk Identity manager
3. Uninstall AdSSO
4. Restart your machine
5. Go to add/remove program - Select Fusion - modify - This will launch Fusion service utility
6. Run the repair Fusion from here

Now start Fusion. Are you sill crashing or facing an issue? If you are

1. Go back to your Fusion service utility and run the "Gather system info"
2. This will generate 2 zip files - please attach the Diagnosticslogs.zip file here

@UwUMR Thank you for the logs. While we look at the logs, are you able to send in the crash reports to Autodesk? IF so can you give me one of the report IDs?

@UwUMR And just to double confirm, if you go to add/remove programs, are there any other Autodesk products listed in there?

@UwUMR Can you please direct message me your email ID so that I can search for the crash report in our back end using your email ID?

If you launch the product again, assuming that it crashes, you will get an UI asking if you want to submit your report to Autodesk. IF you hit yes then once it is done submitting it will generate a report ID for you.

@UwUMR Thank you for sending me your email ID. I was able to get some more information with that. Please do the following. Note some of the steps below may not be necessary but I am suggesting them so that we are not missing out.

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Go to Add/Remove programs - Look for WebView 2
3. Uninstall WebView2
4. Restart machine
5. Reinstall WEbView2 from here - https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/

Now launch Fusion 360. What are the results?

Sorry, but it seems like i'm unable to uninstall WebView2 even with the cmd as admin, or CCLeaner uninstall feature.

@UwUMR With the information you submitted it shows that the crash is coming from WebView2. Are you not having enough permissions to uninstall Webview 2?

I tried to do :

cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView\Application\1*\Installer

.\setup.exe --uninstall --msedgewebview --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstal

In the Powershell and immediatly reinstalled WebView2.

And... It worked !

Thank's a lot Rajkumar !

Hi, I had days with the issue moving everything in the autodesk folders, my firewall, antvirus and a lot of things suggested here. A few seconds ago I finally make it work, in my case the issue was the Adsk Identity Manager that didn´t launch, here´s my solution:

Win + R and then rype Regedit, navigate to this path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\AdskIdentityManager.exe

Inside, delete the Debugger registry and relaunch fusion. I did the same with AdskAccessCore.exe
