I have a traced image exported from illustrator as a dxf, when i try to import it, some of the traced images i can extrude normally but some dont seem to form properly and i cant extrude them as i would like. There's a bunch of random points that dont make any sense and a lot of extra lines that aren't supposed to be there.

the full importthe full importi can extrude the top 2 shapes normally it seems, but the third one acts weirdly when i try to do the same. the other 3 shapes i can't select properlyi can extrude the top 2 shapes normally it seems, but the third one acts weirdly when i try to do the same. the other 3 shapes i can't select properly

I outline the process in my video on one problem section.  In the attached model I did the operation on both problem sections.  The DXF export was really bad and let a lot of open line segments in your sketch.

I recently learned that another way to get better results is (or I should say might be) to ex- and import .svg files from Adobe Illustrator. Did not try this myself yet.
