Adding drawing sheets with simple line drawings

We have some assembly drawings that have tubing connecting a number of the accessories. We don't show the tubing on the assembly drawing as it gets pretty messy, and the customers require us to provide a tubing schematic diagram. I'd like to set up a library of these schematic line diagrams and be able to add them in as a second sheet as needed.

The schematics don't need any dimensions, but do need some text to identify each component.

Does anyone have a good way to do that?

Sketches will come into the 2D drawing as phantom lines.  To prevent this, do a Thin Extrude on the entities in your sketch so they will appear in the drawing.  You can use very thin and short extrusion lines, anything to convert the sketch to a solid.  Video will explain. By the way, you can Window select the sketch to make the Thin Extrude faster if desired.

Thanks so much for the quick and detailed reply. The "Thin Extrude" feature was really the key - without knowing about that I had to try to make the simple lines into areas so I could extrude them, and it was a real struggle.
