Activity 2: Create features for the threaded mount, threading portion broken.

I am taking a college engineering drawing course using Fusion 360 and we are following the Fusion tutorials for the class. Yesterday when following the steps of Tutorial: Adding features to a part , Activity 2: Create features for the threaded mount (https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-CEA8CD65-2178-4BE7-AAFC-A7086B3E69DF) all the students and myself found the threading portion did not work. When the modification is applied, it threads the wrong portion of the part.

Tried this again today using the Fusion instructions instead of the professor's video and it worked fine. Not sure what the problem was.
