Hi

 

A couple of days ago I purchased a two year licence for Fusion360 which shows up under my account:

Then I downloaded the app, uninstalled the old one (the student version), cleared appdata and then reinstalled the previous downloaded app. When I start Fusion 360 it says it's still the student version. How can I change that or do I don't have to worry about that?

Thanks for posting! It could be that your account is taking a day or two to switch over in-product, are you continuing to see the Student version? All entitlements are tied to the account you use to log into Fusion, so it is possible that the account is taking some time to push to the product. 

 

I had a look at your account and saw that you do have an active subscription to Fusion, so it should go through shortly. If it does not, did you use a different email address when you created the subscribed account? If so, you will need to sign into Fusion using the new email address - it could be that you are signing into your Student account and your paid subscription uses different login information.

I'm afraid the version did not change (see pic below). And I'm pritty sure, that I'm logged in with the correct email address.

So, what's next?

Yes, you do have valid subscription, just the student entitlement will be shown as active plan.
